Employee assistance programmes

Employee assistance programmes

The most frequent cause of absence from work is now psychological illness, with 1 in 3 employees experiencing anxiety, stress or depression. Fast access to appropriate support when life becomes challenging can be very valuable.

We deal with a range of employee assistance programme providers. EAPs typically offer telephone support and counselling, information on medical, financial, legal, consumer and family issues, together with face to face counselling if required. Programmes can be tailored to each organisation’s specific needs, such as incorporating crisis counselling which takes place immediately after a traumatic incident such as a medical emergency, accident or violent attack. EAPs are low in cost but high in employee perceived value.
