A very old concept, cash plans help employees maintain their health by providing benefit towards the costs of visits to the dentist, optician and complementary therapists. These plans have developed over recent years and there is now a wide choice of providers and cash plan options, some at very low cost. Premiums can be paid by employer or employee.

All employers have duty of care responsibilities to their employees. These responsibilities include paying for eye tests and contributing towards the cost of spectacles for those employees who regularly use computers. Cash plans help employers to meet these responsibilities and provide a low cost employee benefit which is regularly used by staff.
